| The Wind Song was built in Bargain Harbour, Pender Harbour. Seen here in her early stages of framing, which later is removed after ribbing. In 1950 Allen, Sharie and youngest son Keray, sailed to Hawaii ande Fiji. Fifty-six days and nights at sea ending in fiji, where the Wind Song was sold. The family spent three months living in Sawani Village, before travelling home on the passenger ship Orangi. |
