| Wind Song built in 1947, is sailing before a gale in Desolation Sound. The thirty-six foot staysail schooner was built at the Farrell's place in Bargain Harbour, Pender Harbour. The Farrells dug clams and money was made to sail south in 1951. Allen, Sharie and eight year old Keray, sailed to Hawaii. Then in fifty-six days they reached Fiji. |
