Sharie Farrell in their rowing dory, built by Allen, was out beach combing planks for son Keray's new log house in Powell River.Native Girl anchored in the background was hand built in Green Bay on Nelson Island, by the Farrells.

Native Girl is a 38 foot ketch, built in Green Bay, Nelson Island, by Allen Farrell. The wood was beachcombed, and the boat was built by hand. She was launched in 1964, and became the Farrell's new home.
